Public School Teacher
God saved me through the woman who would eventually become my wife and best friend (Lisa) in the summer of 1997 when I was 23 years old. Before being drawn to Christ, I suffered from the 3 P’s: Pride of Power, Pride of Knowledge, and Pride of Virtue. I wanted to control my own life, thought I knew better than God, and loved to think of myself as a good person while living by my own moral code. Thankfully, God humbled me in every way, exposed my sin, and through His kindness led me to the cross of Jesus Christ for my salvation. In response to God’s incredible love that He showed for me on the cross, I repented of my sins and trusted in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Throughout the last 17 years, God has molded and shaped me for this ministry and filled my heart with a passion for God’s glory, the edification of the church, and the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
During my 15 years of teaching in the public schools, God has empowered me as I have engaged in an evangelistic crusade outside of school where I have witnessed to countless current and former students as well as faculty during my day to day life around town and during town events where I have passed out gospel tracts, witnessed one on one, and open air preached presenting a “Way of the Master” styled law and gospel message.
Four years ago I came to realize that even if missionary efforts like my own were being carried out across the country, it would never be enough to save the next generation while the church was still sending their children to be indoctrinated into the religion of Secular Humanism in the public schools. That is when I began to sound the alarm in the church concerning the public schools and started the two year process of writing my book, Education Reformation. My goal for the book was to awaken the American church to the spiritual dangers of public education and to encourage parents to rescue their children from the public schools and to return to the Word of God for how to educate their children for His glory.
For the past four years I have been a watchman on the wall (Ezekiel 33) sounding the alarm to the American church through my book Education Reformation, my article “From Behind Enemy Lines”, and through my presentation at The Great Education Forum.
Please pray that God will give me the courage and faith to continue to persevere in this ministry, that our children may be saved and taught everything that Jesus has commanded (Matthew 28:18–20), Christian families are strengthened, the church experience revival, and that our Lord Jesus Christ may receive the honor and glory that He deserves.
